My name is Greg  and I had a spinal cord injury (diving) in 1999.  I completed my rehabilitation at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia.  I received my BS in 1989 from Penn State University and my Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 along with a Rehabilitation Technology certificate.  I am a member of the National Rehabilitation Association (NRA).  I am  Chairman of the Consumer Advisory Council OVR: Washington, Greene and Fayette counties.

D.J Stemmler currently works as the Administrative Specialist for UPMC’s Center for Assistive Technology.    Ms. Stemmler has an Associate of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and her Bachelors Degree in Human Service Administration from Chatham College.  Prior to working for UPMC Ms. Stemmler worked for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) as the Grants and Contracts Administrator.   She adopted her son Sergei from Russia at the age of five.  In addition to working in Occupational Therapy and Grants and Contracts Ms. Stemmler is a life long advocate for disability and civil rights issues and has committed most of personal and professional life to ensuring equal access for people with disabilities to services, housing, employment and education.  In 2003 Ms. Stemmler was awarded the EP Maxwell J. Schleifer Distinguished Service Award for recognition as her work as an advocate.
